Frustrated from the undue delay (over 5 months after the exam), doctors all over India poured out on the streets to voice their grievances. Doctors from different medical colleges protested throughout the day against the delay in NEET results and verdict of NEET PG Supreme court case.
Medicos organised a rally from Sabarmati riverfront to IT Circle in Ahmedabad at 11 am today. A rally was also taken out from Goa Medical College to Azad Maidan at 11 am. In Rajasthan Protests were held at RNTMC Udaipur, SPMC Bikaner, and a candle march was organised from SMS Medical College Jaipur to Trimurti Circle in the evening. In Bihar, students of Darbhanga Medical College staged a demonstration. Protests were also held at Hyderabad, Tirupati, Kolkata & various other cities. In UP, medicos took out a rally from Sardar Patel Park in the afternoon demanding cancellation of UPPGMEE. The rally was forcefully stopped & doctors were arrested at Hazratganj Chauraha, Lucknow.
