NBE declared the result of DNB CET Nov 2012 session result yesterday evening. The result came as a shock for many. The ranks were not at all according to the performance says many students on different forums.
Students say that its due the unreasonable scaling used by prometric for deciding the score. Its like a lottery and the hard work of students is not evaluated in this system.
One student say - My friend got a rank of within 40 in AIIMS and PGI exam of Nov-Dec session and his CET Nov rank is above 10000. This clearly shows that the ranking system of prometric is faulty
Students now praying that SC gives a verdict in which there is a provision of single day single session exam which will not undermine the ranking system.
It appears that the Scaling system and psychometric analysis used by prometric for various exams like GMAT, CAT etc, is not successful in PG entrance exams in India. and students are definitely not liking it.
