Uttarakhand Post Graduate Medical & Dental Entrance Exam 2014

GB Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar, will conduct the competitive entrance examination for selecting candidates for admission to MD/MS /MDS/PG diploma courses in various Medical and Dental colleges of Uttarakhand

The Entrance Examination for admission to above Post Graduate Medical/Dental courses for session 2014-15 will be held on dated 30th Jan 2014 at Pantnagar centre only

Eligibility Criteria for UKPGMEE-2014
The competitive entrance examination shall be open to such candidate, who is an Indian citizen
Has passed the MBBS/BDS Examination from a Medical/Dental College, situated in Uttarakhand state and recognized by the MCI/DCI
Has completed/will be completing compulsory rotatory internship training on or before 31st Mar 2014
No request for time relaxation in compulsory rotating internship under any circumstances will be accepted
Registration with MCI/Uttarakhand Medical Council /DCI/Uttarakhand Dental council is utmost necessary and its documentary proof should be furnished at the time of counselling and admission in allotted college
A candidate who is already admitted to any Post Graduate Medical/Dental course in any Medical/Dental college in the state of Uttarakhand will not be eligible to appear in the UKPGMEE-2014 till he/she completes his/her ongoing PG course and passes the exam

The competitive entrance examination for Post graduate Medical courses (MD/ MS/PG Diploma courses) and Post graduate Dental courses (MDS) shall be of one written paper of 300 multiple choice, single correct response questions
All the questions will be objective type with multiple (A, B, C, D) choice of which only one will be the most appropriate answer for the correct choice
Each answer with correct choice shall be awarded one mark. Zero mark shall be given to no answer/wrong answer/ more than one choice is indicated against a question

Answering method: Read the instruction of OMR Answer sheet carefully

Negative marking: There shall be no negative marking

Admit Card of UKPGMEE-2014The admit cards will be available in the university website www.gbpuat.ac.in and will also be sent to the eligible candidates at their email address given by the applicants in the application form w.e.f. 27th Jan 2014

However, if due to any reason the candidates fails to receive the admit card, such candidates can obtained his/her duplicate admit card 02 hours before the commencement of the examination from the office of Coordinator (Test & Selection), GB Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, Lambert square Guest house, Pant Nagar, District Udham Singh Nagar . Such candidates must bring one attested copy of the same photograph which he/she has affixed with the application form

Admit cards will not be sent by post in any case

Examination Fee:
Rs.5500/- for General and OBC category candidates
Rs.3000/- for SC & ST category candidates

Candidates will submit online application form alongwith the details of bank draft of Rs 5500/- (General/OBC) and Rs 3000/- (SC/ST)

They will send the hard copy of the online submitted form alongwith one most recent passport size photograph, original left hand thumb impression, the bank draft in favour of ‘Comptroller, Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, Pantnagar’ Payable at Pantnagar either by registered post/speed post or by hand at the designated counter of

Important Dates:

• Date of availability of online application forms: 01st Jan 2014 (Wednesday)
• Last date of submission of online application: 20th Jan 2014 (Monday)
• Last date of submission of downloaded hard copy of application form with ID proof & bank draft of Exam fee by speed/registered post/in person: 24th Jan 2014 (Friday)
• Date of Entrance Examination: 30th Jan 2014 (Thursday, 02.00 p.m. to 05.00 p.m.)

Declaration of result on and before: 14th Feb 2014 (Friday)
