Extended 3rd round of counselling has been announced by MCC... The schedule is as follows...


Eligibility Criteria for Extended 3rd Round.

As per directions of the Hon’ble Supreme Court dated 18.06.2014 in IA No. 15/2014 in Writ Petition (Civil) no 433 of 2013 the following categories of candidates are eligible to take part in All India Quota PG Online Counseling Extended Round-3:

1. The candidates who are admitted through All India Quota (AIQ) and are still admitted (continuing) on allotted seat in AIQ participating colleges.
2. The candidates who are registered but not allotted seat in Round – 1, 2 and 3. 3. Candidates whose allotted seat got cancelled (in earlier round) due to change of category and is otherwise eligible for allotment of seat in changed category.

The following categories of candidates are not eligible to take part in All India Quota PG Online Counseling Extended Round-3:

1. The candidates who have not joined the seat/ College allotted through AIQ.
2. Those who resigned from the AIQ seat.

DNB CET - Jan 2014 Session - Final Round Counselling

PUBLIC NOTICE

Sub:     Counseling for Jan-2014 admission session (Post MBBS Courses)

NBE shall be conducting a final round of counseling for January 2014 admission session for DNB Post MBBS courses in the month of July 2014.

All the candidates who have participated in the centralized counseling conducted by NBE from 21-03-14 to 31-03-14 or 29-04-14 to 07-05-14 or 14-06-14 to 15-06-14 and have not opted for a confirmed seat shall be eligible to participate in this final round of counseling.

All the seats which were available in the first round of counseling and are vacant due to not opting/non-joining/leaving after joining shall be included for allotment in the final round of counseling for this session.

Kind Attention: Applicant candidates for DNB CET November 2013
  • The second round of DNB CET Centralized Merit Based Counseling for Admission to DNB Post MBBS Courses (January 2014 Admission Session) has been completed on 07-05-14.
  • The  extended second round of DNB CET Centralized Merit Based Counseling shall be conducted by NBE as per the schedule given below at NBE office, PSP Area, Sector – 9, Dwarka (Landmark: Opp. District Court, Sec-10 Dwarka, New Delhi).

#    Only those candidates whose merit position is upto 17000 and were present at the time of 2nd round of DNB CET counseling and had opted for participation in further round of counseling are eligible to participate in the extended second round of counseling subject to verification of their original documents and fulfillment of the eligibility criteria as laid down in the concerned information bulletin and hand book for DNB CET Centralized Merit Based Counseling for January 2014 Admission session.  These Candidates are not required to bring their RANK LETTER at the time of counseling. There is no additional fee for participation in Extended Second Round of Counseling for these candidates.

  • The candidates beyond the merit position 17000 are required to pay counseling fee of Rs. 2500/- by means of Demand Draft only in favour of National Board of Examinations, payable at New Delhi, on the day of counseling at counseling venue itself. These Candidates are required to bring their RANK LETTER at the time of counseling along with the other prescribed documents.  
These candidates can download their rank letters for participation in the Counseling from NBE website.

§  Candidates will be required to bring all prescribed documents in original. 
  • Candidates without original documents shall not be allowed to appear/participate in Centralized Counseling by NBE under any circumstances.
  • The Indicative seat matrix for extended second round shall be made available on NBE website shortly. Final Seat matrix shall be notified prior to commencement of the counseling.
  • Candidates may note that there shall not be any further round of counseling for Jan-2014 admission session. Consequently, there shall not be any provision to opt for further round of counseling.
