Applications on the prescribed form are invited for the following Postgraduate courses for the academic session starting from 1st January, 2016.
GENERAL INFORMATION
1. The candidates completing internship after 31.12.2015 are not eligible for MD/MS course
2. The number of seats wherever indicated are provisional and may increase/decrease without any prior notice.
3. Incomplete applications will not be entertained and no correspondence will be made in this regard.

i. The Prospectus/Online application form/ Challan form is available only on PGI website.
ii. Dates for Submission of Online Applications and Generation of Challan forms - from
19.09.2015 to 15.10.2015., however State Bank of India will accept the fees upto 20.10.2015.

THE APPLICATION PROCESS
Application forms can be accessed only online through the Christian Medical College website
http://www.admissions.cmcvellore.ac.in from 15/09/2015. Duly filled application forms must be submitted online with a basic administrative fee of Rs.750/- and a registration fee of Rs. 600 per each course before 12 midnight on 6/11/2015. All the supporting documents should reach the Office of Registrar, CMC, Vellore -2 by post on or before 13/11/2015.

ANNOUNCEMENT AND ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
COMEDK PGET – 2016 Entrance Examination will be conducted on the First Sunday of February 2016 (07-02-2016) for admission to Post Graduate Medical and Dental courses in COMEDK Member Institutions.
2. Details regarding the schedule of examination, information Brochure etc., will be notified in due course. Prospective candidates are required to check the COMEDK website for regular updates.
3. Candidates from across the country can appear for the entrance examination. The eligibility criteria for Post Graduate Degree / Diploma programs are as follows:

# Only those candidates whose merit position is upto 6000 and had opted for participation in further round of counseling are eligible to participate in the second round of counseling subject to verification of their original documents and fulfillment of the eligibility criteria as laid down in the concerned information bulletin and handbook for DNB CET Centralized Merit Based Counseling for July 2015 Admission session. There is no additional fee for participation in Second Round of Counseling for these candidates.
- The list of candidates eligible for DNB CET – 2nd Round of Counseling July 2015 admission session shall be made available on NBE website shortly.
- The candidates beyond the merit position 6000 are required to pay counseling fee of Rs. 2500/- by means of Demand Draft in favour of National Board of Examinations, payable at
§ Candidate can also exercise his/her option for participation in further round of counseling (ie opting out) through NBE website www.natboard.edu.in till the day of his / her scheduled counseling. The candidate need not appear for counseling in-person at NBE office Delhi for opting out for further round of counseling. Candidate can access NBE website from anywhere to use the facility for opting out for further round of counseling. Such candidate shall not be marked as absent and shall be given an opportunity to participate in further round of counseling as and when conducted by NBE for the same academic session.
§ The candidates beyond the merit position 6000 opting out for further round of counseling through online shall be required to pay counseling Fee of Rs 2500/- by credit/debit card at the time of online submission of Opting out form.
§ Candidates will be required to bring all prescribed documents in original to participate in the Centralized Counseling.
- Candidates without original documents shall not be allowed to appear/participate in Centralized Counseling by NBE under any circumstances.
- The Indicative seat matrix shall be made available on NBE website shortly. Final Seat matrix shall be notified at the NBE website and the Counseling venue prior to the commencement of the counseling.
- The candidates appearing for counseling can either opt for a confirmed seat or exercise their option for participation in further round of counseling (if any). The conduct of further round of counseling shall be subject to feasibility and availability of seats after the conduct second round of counseling.
