With great efforts of KGMC and other UP medical colleges students, UP Govt has postponed the UPPGMEE 2013 till further notice.
In protest against UPPGMEE and in support of, Medical students of UP, were on indefinite hunger strike in front of KGMC. During that strike many students also got sick of prolonged starvation and developed ketoacidosis. They were also manhandled by UP police and were sent to lockups. But finally UP Govt agreed in favor of medical community and postponed the exam.
